Yesterday I visited the RHS Garden at Rosemoor in Great Torrington, North Devon. They hold special evenings where you can walk your dog round the beautiful gardens. Dogs aren’t usually allowed, nor are people in the evening. The dogs love it and so do the humans. The gardens are quiet, and the mid-Spring flowers are fabulous.

It is one of the most inspiring places for me. I never fail to spot flowers, leaves, and shapes to incorporate into my designs, and yesterday was no exception. The weather has been very rainy but it held off for the evening, and a great time was had for all. The great variety of greenery and foliage in so many shades is breathtaking. The wisteria in particular is spectacular.
